Defining Order Status Values


Merchant Manager provides three predefined order status values that enable you to track order status:

 Pending

 Processing

 Delivered

 Pending Check Clearance

The default order status is "Pending." This means all new orders are set to this status automatically. Merchant Manager enables you to change these names and create additional order statuses as necessary.

 


To change the name of a status:

On the menu, select Orders and then Order Status Values. A list of all defined order statuses displays.

Click the order status whose name you want to change.

In the right pane, click Edit.

Change the name as you like and then click Update.

 


To create a new status:

On the menu, select Orders and then Order Status Values. A list of all defined order statuses displays.

Click Insert.

Enter a name for this status.

If you would like to make this the default status, click Set as default.

Click Insert. The new status appears in the list of defined states.
