Restoration


If you need to restore files/folders from backup, then you have two choices: use the client interface or Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) browser.

To use the client, please refer to the client-embedded Help content (upper-right side of the interface).  But if you wish to get started quickly without reading the Help content, then click the Restore tab along the top navigation menu on the client interface.  Locate the files/folders you wish to restore on the left navigation section, and click Restore Now.
 

To use IE browser (and please note that no other browser is compatible):

Go directly to dataprotect.cs.onr.siteprotect.com, or log in to SiteControl, navigate to the DataProtect overview page, and click Web Restore in the Summary section.

When you load the login page, IE may ask you to approve the installation of an Active-X component.  Please allow it.  Click the information bar along the top of the browser page and then click Run ActiveX Control.

When prompted to install a software from NovaStor, then click Install.

Enter the same DataProtect user name and password you selected during the order process.

Click Log in.

Locate the files/folders you wish to restore on the left navigation section, and click Restore Now.
