You may move entire plans or even certain products from one account-holder to another using SiteControl. Moved plans or products will retain its existing status (Open, Closed, Suspended), payment cycle, and discounts (if any) in the recipient account.
When would you need to use this option? If you...
...have more than one SiteControl account and you wish to manage all of your plans and products under one account.
...currently have one SiteControl account and prefer to have more than one in order to manage certain plans and/or products under different accounts.
...wish to move a plan or product out of your SiteControl account and into another existing customer's account.
...wish to move a plan or product out of your SiteControl account and transfer it to someone who is not currently a customer but plans to be one.
Quick Start Instructions
Log in to SiteControl, click My Account tab, click My Services on the left-side menu, determine the plan or product to move and click its Move Plan to Another Account link, and enter the recipient account-holder's account ID or e-mail address.

Once the plan or product is accepted by the recipient account-holder, it will be automatically purged in the originating account so be sure to save any pertinent data (if any). |

Log in to SiteControl. |

Along the top navigation menu, click My Account tab. On the left-side menu, click My Services. |

On the My Services page, you see a list of plans and products, each with its own set of Actions. Click Move Plan to Another Account under the Actions column for the appropriate plan or product. |

On the Move Plan page, verify that the correct plan or product was selected in the section titled Step 1 - Review Plans. |

In the section titled Step 2 - Specify Account, you see two options (highlighted below).
If the recipient account-holder is already an existing customer, then select the first radio button and enter that customer's Account ID or SiteControl User Name in the Account ID or Login Username field. Or If the recipient account-holder is not currently a customer and plans to be one, then select the second radio button and enter that person's e-mail address in the Email Address field. |

Click Continue. |

On the subsequent page, verify that the correct recipient account-holder information is displayed. Click Move Plans Now. |

Upon initiating the move request, an e-mail confirming the request is sent to you, while an e-mail asking to approve the request is sent to the recipient account-holder. If you change your mind prior to recipient approval, then return to the My Services page and click Manage Account Changes to cancel the move: |

Included in the e-mail sent to the recipient account-holder are instructions and a link to the account-creation form. If the recipient does not wish to approve the move, then the e-mail can be disregarded. |

If the recipient account-holder is an existing customer, then he/she only needs to enter his/her existing SiteControl login. Or If the recipient account-holder is not an existing customer and plans to be one, then he/she is required to complete the full account-creation form. |

The recipient account-holder is then presented with the plan or product you selected to move, along with its corresponding pro-rated and recurring costs. |

Once the recipient completes these steps and the move is approved, both you and the recipient will receive e-mail confirmations. You can also confirm the change by returning to the Manage Account Changes page. |
