To configure Entourage 2004:

In the Entourage Mail menu choose Tools > Accounts |

In the Accounts window select New > Mail.

In the New Account window, select POP from the Account type drop-down menu and then click OK If you prefer IMAP, then select IMAP from the menu. The rest of the settings for either POP or IMAP are exactly alike. |

Select theAccount Settings tab in the Edit Account window |

In the Name field, enter the name you want to display in the From: field on messages you send. (Ex. John Doe) |

In the E-mail Address field, enter your email address (EX. johndoe@johndoe.com) |

In the Account ID field, enter your email address. (Ex. john@johndoe.com) |

In the POP server field enter your incoming mail server name in the form of pop.yourdomainname.com. (Ex. pop.johndoe.com) |

In the SMTP server field window enter the name of the outgoing server in the form of smtp.yourdomainname.com. (Ex. smtp.johndoe.com) |

Select Click here for advanced sending options in the Sending mail section. |

Check the box next to SMTP server requires authentication.

Click on the corner of the advanced sending options window to close the window.

Click OK at the bottom of the Edit Account window. |

Close the Accounts window. |

Congratulations! You can now send and receive mail. |
