Select the file you want to edit. In this example, the welcome .htm file is selected on the right or remote side of the FTP tool.

Right-click on the welcome file to see the menu options.

Click File Edit. |

The File Editor opens. You can see the html code in the file as you could with a text based editor such as Notepad. You can now Edit the code in the File Viewer. In the File Edit window, there are three functions: Save, Save as and Exit: Save - updates the file that you have opened Save as - use this to make a copy of the file and save it to your local computer. Exit - closes the File Edit window.
