To activate a Dedicated IP:
A Dedicated IP address is assigned to one domain and is not shared by other domains. Normally, one IP address is shared among several hosting accounts on one server.
A Dedicated IP address allows you to:
Use SSL (secure sockets layer) protection on your website.
Have a fully functioning high-traffic web site.
Access your domain by using either your domain name or the numeric form of your IP address (Ex. 111.142.111.100.)
Reverse DNS lookup configuration.
Distribute application security.
Support clustering technologies.
To activate a Dedicated IP:

In the home page in SiteControl under the Manage Services section, click the Website icon. |

In the Website page scroll down to the Added Functionality section. |

Click Dedicated IP. |

The Dedicated IP Overview page appears: Click Purchase.

The Purchase Dedicated IP Address page appears with information about your fees. Click Purchase Now. |

After you click Purchase Now, the Dedicated IP Address Confirmation message appears with your purchase details.
